Dear Beloved One:
I have been watching you lately and I wanted to say something before it goes too far. You see, I have noticed, how downcast your soul has been....how your heart has been sunken into the depths of concern and care. All you have to do is hope in Me. I am the.......health of your countenance and the uplifter of who you are. You worry so much about needs.....will there be enough money? What if I lose my job? What if the car breaks down.....the house...family......the world. Sometimes I sigh within myself and think.....am I not doing a good enough job for the ones I love? And yet, the scriptures that I revealed to mankind say again and again....I KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.....that is why one of my names is Jehovah Jireh, or...”The Lord who provides.” Behold what I have given you! A family. A home. A person who loves you. Children. Grandchildren. I have sheltered you from storm, from the ravages of disease......and I made sure that you were brought up in a land where you are free to worship Me and free to TRUST ME.
So I say to you, stop burdening yourself with so much care and pressuring yourself with concerns that do not belong to you.....they are My concern if you are truly my child....so let me do my job. Your job is to do something that is very simple.....simply tell me in prayer what you are worried about and leave it there in my hands.....Or......do you think you are more capable of meeting the needs of those around you than I am? Of course not! And I promise if you do this, a peace that is beyond the comprehension of man will pour over you like a blanket....and you will be at peace with what is going on in your life and in the life of others. I will do that for you and I will do it through the precious gift that My Son, My Only Son Jesus poured out on the cross. That is one reason that I sent Him. To bring you back into the fold and to bring you back into my protection. You see, worry is a faith problem....somewhere you got a little lost in the knowledge that I will see to the needs you have and provide. Sure, trouble will come but I am ALWAYS there beside you and with the ones you love.
I am capable of providing for you because I can do it according to My riches in glory. Cast your cares on Me! That is why I say to you, cast your cares on me....because I care for you and love you so very much. Come, if you are burdened down with pain and worry.....I will give you rest. I know where the green valley is and the soft, quiet waters are....I will lead you there...but you have to trust me and let me be God to you. I think maybe you have been trusting in yourself for so very long, even into your childhood but its time now to let your Father take care of you.....to lay it down here and let me do my job.....to love you and provide.
You know, it is by my mercy that you awaken everyday to life. I gave that breath to you and worry makes you into the dead. I never lose my compassion....they are new every morning. Everyday.
Finally, since it has been so long since you truly let me work, I want you to stand still.....see my salvation. As it says in the Psalms: BE STILL....this is a command, not a request.....KNOW THAT I AM GOD. Do not trivialize the death of My Son, Jesus. It was so that we could fellowship that He came. Let go of this worry and embrace the Comforter that I promised and sent....yes...even the Holy Spirit, who is right now at work in you. Perhaps you have tears falling......let them be tears of release. I release you from the burden of having to worry ever again. I know you will from time to time...fall, and when you do.....just re-read this letter. I am always here. Talk to me, child and feel my presence every day....for I awaken you with the gentle sunbeam and the breath of life every day. You are my greatest triumph with exception of my Son Jesus..... I love you and always will.
Your Loving God,
Abba
